Don't tell anyone

14thmay. We were asked if we wanted to go for a picnic obviously we said "lovely" so we walked across the field, a fire was lit a big pan pan of water was put on it and a cereal that looked like a coss between sago and porridge was pored into it and stirred til it thickened and then seasoning and pickled bits were thrown in and jars of preserved duck and stirred and stirred and then dolloped on plates! I ate it cos I wasn't gonna say oh no thank you I don't eat meat could you do me something else ....no way it was a traditional outdoor meal called HUNTERS PORRIDGE normallyade with what's been murdered that day. It was strange tasting and they said they wouldn't tell anyone I'd eaten it!
An early night as we are off in the morning.
It will be sad to leave them it's a weird experience when you have an instant connection with a person or in this case a whole gang
